From food and drink festivals, to international pop superstars and world class sporting events, there really is something for everyone. All summer long

5th – October: Adventure Dock

Yep – a giant inflatable, ninja warrior style obstacle course is coming to Duke Dock, right next to the Albert Dock. There’ll be huge slides, climbing walls and trampolines for you and your mates to challenge each other on. For more info and to book you tickets, click here.

18th – 22nd April 2019 : Double Fantasy – John & Yoko

A ground-breaking world first, this exhibition tells the story of John Lenon and Yoko Ono in their own words. Discover more about one of the most famous couple’s personal and creative chemistry and ow they expressed their deep and powerful love through music, art and film. Best of all, it’s completely free! 7th July – September: Pier Head Village Festival

Back for the third year in a row, Pier Head is being taken over pop-up bars, street food stalls, and of course, thrill seeking rides! The village is open all day and late into the night and is the perfect way to enjoy a day in the city. We’ll see you on Sky Swing!


14th-15th: The City Of Liverpool Tattoo @ The Echo Arena

Making it’s debut, The City of Liverpool Tattoo will hold three performances featuring a host of amazing military bands, The City of Liverpool Highland Dancers and more. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit their website.

14th-30th: Liverpool Comedy Festival

For 17 years, the Liverpool Comedy Festival has been bringing famous faces and up and coming comedy stars to Liverpool, and this year will be no different. With over 100 shows set across 20 venues, you’ll be in stitches for weeks! Check out the line out and get your tickets here.

15th-16th: Liverpool Food and Drink Festival @ Sefton Park

Birthing 11 years of celebrity chef demonstrations, culinary masterclasses, live music & some of the best pop-up food & drink vendors in the UK, the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival is back for it’s 11th year. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day. Find out more here.

20th – 30th: Smash The Keys @ The Philharmonic Hall

September’s Smash the Keys is a 10-day music festival that puts a single instrument centre stage in a celebration that is more than just classical. Instead, music fans can expect to hear all forms and genres, from jazz to grime, hip hop to swing – played by some of the biggest names in music. Visit their website for more details.

27th: Beer Festival @ St George’s Hall

If you’ve never stepped inside the Great Hall before then you’re in for a treat. And, even better, you can sit back with a drink and enjoy the view. Expect 200 different real ales and ciders alongside a gin garden with a selection of boutique gins, spirits, wine and prosecco. Whatever your tipple, we’ve got it covered. There will also be entertainment throughout the sessions (except Friday Afternoon – music free session). There will also be hot and cold food to soak up the alcohol, provided by local vendors. 4th-7th: Liverpool’s Dream – The Giants Spectacular!

Back for the third and final time, the Giants will be once again taking over the city for the latest installment of their epic tale. The exact details are being kept under lock and key but for the first time, the Giants will be starting over the water on The Wirral. Keep and eye on their website for all the details.

19th-20th: Gin and Rum Festival Halloween Party @ Croxteth Hall

Enjoy an evening or Afternoon of sampling some of the best Gin’s served with a variety of Fever Tree Tonics and Garnish in your very own Gin Glass at the Fabulous Queen Anne Suite at Croxteth Country Hall, Liverpool. Find out more here.

27th-30th: Octoberfest @ The Baltic Market

Munich is coming to Merseyside! The Baltic Market is being converted into a haven of hot dogs, beers by the stein and German camaraderie. Dust off your lederhosen, pull up a seat and raise your beers with us to good times.


5th: Bonfire night – Liverpool 

The city with be lighting up with firework displays across the city. Stay tuned as more detials are announced.
